Celtic knotwork consists of designs where lines interlace, (go over and under each other forming decorative knots). Celtic knotwork represents the intertwining of the forces of nature: earth and water, night and day, life and death.

Malachite is said to bring harmony, knowledge, and patience. It was used in the Middle Ages as a children's talisman to ward off danger and illness and was often attached to infant's cradles. Malachite is the anniversary gemstone for the 13th year of marriage.
