The Ogham or Celtic Tree calendar was divided into thirteen months and a day. The Vine (Muin) month (September 2 ‐ September 29) encompasses the Autumn Equinox and celebrates the festival of Mabon on September 21.
The Vine in the Ogham calendar is the grapevine, the only cultivated species and one that was sacred to the gods for its wine-making ability.
Vine people are emotional and passionate although they present a reserved exterior to the world. They possess a good sense of humor, but are self-critical and can be easily hurt by others.
