| The Tuim Knot signifies the Four seasons, the Four seasonal Lunar holidays (Imbolc - February 2, Beltane - May 1, Lughnasadh - August 2, and Samhain - October 31,) and the Four elements Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Celtic knots are a variety of stylized endless knots used for decoration. Although Celtic knot designs are dated to pre-Christianity, they are well known for their use in the ornamentation of Christian monuments and manuscripts such as the 8th century Book of Kells. There is no definitive guide as to the meaning of Celtic knots, but it is generally accepted that the looping Celtic knot design denotes eternity and interconnectedness. Our Celtic Tuim Knot ring celebrates the symmetry of the four. We are discontinuing this ring due to a change in manufacturers. As stocks are
reduced, ring sizes will gradually become unavailable until our inventory is
depleted.
