The triskele is a tripartite symbol composed of three interlocked spirals. The spiral is an ancient Celtic symbol related to the sun, afterlife and reincarnation. Triskeles are one of the most common elements of Celtic art particularly in depictions of the Mother Goddess.
Knotwork patterns are what most people think of as Celtic Art and consist of designs where lines interlace, (go over and under each other forming decorative knots). Celtic knotwork represents the intertwining of the forces of nature: earth and water, night and day, life and death.
Our Celtic Triskele & Knotwork Ring celebrates all aspects of the natural world.
